希西家聽從使者的話，就把他寶庫的金子、銀子、香料、貴重的膏油，和他武庫的一切軍器，並他所有的財寶，都給他們看。他家中和他全國之內，希西家沒有一樣不給他們看的。 13 Hezekiah received the messengers and showed them all that was in his storehouses--the silver, the gold, the spices and the fine oil--his armory and everything found among his treasures. There was nothing in his palace or in all his kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them.

於是先知以賽亞來見希西家王，問他說：「這些人說甚麼？他們從哪裏來見你？」希西家說：「他們從遠方的巴比倫來。」 14 Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked, 「What did those men say, and where did they come from?」 「From a distant land,」 Hezekiah replied. 「They came from Babylon.」

以賽亞說：「他們在你家裏看見了甚麼？」希西家說：「凡我家中所有的，他們都看見了；我財寶中沒有一樣不給他們看的。」 15 The prophet asked, 「What did they see in your palace?」 「They saw everything in my palace,」 Hezekiah said. 「There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.」

日子必到，凡你家裏所有的，並你列祖積蓄到如今的，都要被擄到巴比倫去，不留下一樣。這是耶和華說的。 17 The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your fathers have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD.
